How do you bill aircraft hangar work fairly?
Arreconsa rents construction and support equipment to aviation hangars. The hard part is not the catalog, but knowing exactly when a structure goes onto an aircraft and when it comes off, because that window of time is what the customer pays for. We built a three-application system so that each role has its own screen.
Hangar staff record each aircraft and structure as it happens; the operations/administration side controls the catalog, the structures in place and the accounts; and the customer sees their own quotes, orders and invoices. One database, three custom front ends — so the billing total builds itself from what was actually recorded on the floor.

What we did
What software does an aircraft structures shop need?
The platform is built in PHP on the CodeIgniter framework, with a shared MySQL database and role-based access. Each of the three apps — hangar intake, administration/operations and customer portal — is its own CodeIgniter installation pointing at the same data, so a structure entered in the hangar is immediately visible upstream.
The billing engine is the heart of it: each structure in place carries its weight, its period in days and its rate, and the system turns those into a service value per structure, then into quotes, purchase orders, invoices and an accounts receivable report — the $442K that the operations dashboard summarizes at a glance. PDF export runs on Dompdf and spreadsheets on PhpSpreadsheet.
Turn "when the aircraft went in and came out" into a billing total the customer can trust, with no double entry.
Give the hangar, the administration and the customer each their own view of a single source of truth.

The result
How do you go from hangar records to the invoice on a single platform?
Today Arreconsa runs all of its aircraft structure management on a single platform: the hangar records reality, the administration turns it into money and the customer sees exactly what they are paying for. A genuinely complex logistics and billing problem, solved with a clean CodeIgniter build and a single source of truth.
