How do you sell specialty coffee from El Salvador in Canada, in three languages?
Global Origins imports coffee from El Salvador and roasts it in Montreal. Its Magma collection is five coffees scoring 85 to 87.5 SCA points, grown between 1,100 and 1,700 meters on the volcanic soils of Metapán and Ataco.
The store had to tell that origin —the volcano, the farm, the process— and separate the person buying a bag for their kitchen from the one buying green beans for their own roaster, in Spanish, English and French.

What we did
What does a WooCommerce store for specialty coffee need?
Born in a volcano, roasted in Montreal: a dark identity with lava orange for Magma, with photography of the bags and the farms.
The Magma collection: five coffees, each bag in the color of its lot, whole bean or ground, with tasting notes, process and SCA score.
From the volcano to your cup: the mountain, the harvest and the process, and the roasting in Quebec, told in three steps with their numbers.
Two paths: the online shop for home and green coffee for professionals.
Three languages with a switcher in the header, customer accounts and shipping across Quebec and the rest of Canada.

The result
What does the Global Origins redesign look like?
The redesign can be explored at globalorigins.le-website.com, on the same WooCommerce the Global Origins team already runs. We keep supporting the store.
