How do you design an AI legal platform that doesn't feel like paperwork?
LegalMente AI is a legal platform for entrepreneurs in the United States. It forms LLCs and corporations, drafts and reviews documents, and answers legal questions through Para™, an AI paralegal that lives inside the product rather than in a little help window.
We joined the update round: UI/UX design and interface concepts for the parts of the product where the user either finishes the task or abandons it.

What we did
How do you design the process of forming a company online?
Forming a company is four decisions disguised as forty fields. The wizard names them out loud — Entity, Details, Pricing, Payment — and keeps the progress bar in view the whole time, so the user always knows how much is left. Entity type and state come first because everything else depends on them; partners and addresses come next; the money comes last, itemized to the cent, with state fees and the registered agent separated from the package so nothing shows up as a surprise at checkout.
Para™ travels with the user. The same assistant bar sits at the bottom of every step of the form, so a question about whether the company is managed by its members or by a manager gets answered where it comes up, without leaving the form. In the full chat it keeps its own history and its library of past questions, cites its sources, shows the accumulated legal savings, and closes every answer with the door open to a flesh-and-blood attorney.
That someone forming their first company can finish the process without leaving the flow to look anything up.
To give the platform's other surfaces — orders, cost centers, template library, document view — the same grammar, so the product reads as one tool and not four.

The result
What does an AI paralegal do inside a legal platform?
The interface stops being a form the moment the answer is already inside it.
